Where to begin? This is our new website and our new location. Nice isn't it?

Let me explain what has been transpiring behind the scenes here at Cool Like Us. First off, this comic was done as a labor of love and was never really meant for the general public. When we put the comic online it originally was on a plain black and white web page that was just designed to hold it.

Well, when we started showing it off beyond our little circle of friends, people really disliked the web page. At the time, I was attempting to get a Web Designer job at my University, so I made the second version of the website. It wasn't optimized, and it used archaic methods of design to get it looking halfway decent. Needless to say, I didn't get the job, but that worked out for the best.

Flash forward a year to now. April is about to graduate from the same University, and she wanted a chance to really create a good well designed website that she could show off. After looking around at various web comics and general website designs, we picked a design and added a theme to it. April has put some hard work into this design and I think it shows.

The theme we picked out was the Zune/Royal Noir theme for Windows XP, as we really like the color scheme and design. To those Windows XP users out there, I would highly recommend checking the Zune Theme out, as it is a wonderful theme.

We have had the website done for a while, but we haven't put it in place until now, as we have been doing some tweaking to the previous comics as well as working on a new one to launch the site.

So take a look around. Some parts of the site may not be operational just yet, but we have a funny image for those non-functional pages.
