Live and Let Die

I know. We said we'd update more, but since then we have bought a house in a new city and moved in. On top of that, we have had to plan, organize, and have our wedding. So, lately April and I have discussed getting the comic setup so we can get one out every two weeks. We have this one and another one done, and since this one is time sensitive, it will go up today.

Tomorrow is the first day that no more HD DVDs will come out. Sadly, this format really should have been given more of a chance. Yet, the consumer electronics companies, along with the studios, made back room deals to kill the format off. Unfortunately, a lot of us consumers were left by the wayside because of it. Now the format war is over, and consumers still don't care about true HD media and continue their position of "upscaled DVD is just fine." So much for this supposed format confusion keeping adoption rates down.

Well, thanks for all the memories HD DVD, and hopefully, Blu-ray will grow to fill in the big shoes you've left behind.
