Linda Ashby's Biography

Linda Ashby works as a full time computer instructor at an adult literacy center for women in Bridgeport, CT. She has enjoyed working there for almost 2 years. Previously she was an ESL and ABE 1 teacher, and was a teacher for a multilevel ESL class for Even Start in Stamford, CT and an ESL work skills program in Hartford, CT. She has enjoyed every minute of the 20+ years of her teaching career.

Outside of her career she enjoys writing, learning new things, and dancing. She has a wonderful son, a fantastic husband and they both keep her laughing and learning. Sometimes when the weather is nice, you'll find her roller blading or taking long walks with her mother in the park.
