MICROSOFT “PLUG”

Some useful technology tools that can be utilized quickly by a teacher are the internet and Microsoft Office (you must have it installed on your computer to view the below hyperlinks).  I personally am a fan of the Microsoft Office package because that is what I use at work and what I’m most familiar with.  Some of the basic software you may be interested in are Microsoft’s Word (word processing good for typing letters or other written projects), Excel (spreadsheet that can calculate grades, organize information), Powerpoint (create slideshows for presentation) and Access (database to store information or build queries).  Some examples of the above mentioned programs are listed below.

The files below are examples of class projects I have completed and may be military related.  However, I did not author the Power Point example, nor do I know who created it.  I thought it was a good example of a slide show that could be presented in the classroom.  I received the slideshow via the internet while I was stationed in the Middle East and is an abbreviated version due to file size.
