Jimmy V Foundation

Each year the men of the Troy State Chapter hold a "LUAU" in the Spring Semester. The cost of attendance is $10.00 for three nights of GREAT music. We have a different band performing each night of Luau with a culminating, all-day event on Saturday. This is when each sorority on campus comes to compete for the title of "Miss Luau". Each lady must compete in the following categories: Greased pig chase, volleyball tournament, and a money jar competition. We would like to invite all of you out to support the Jimmy V Foundation by purchasing a $10.00 ticket to Luau. Luau will be held Spring 2009: April 16th, 17th, and 18th.

In Fall 2007, we will hold our first annual Philanthropy benefiting the Jimmy V Foundation. The V Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to saving lives by helping to find a cure for cancer. The Foundation seeks to make a difference by generating broad-based support for cancer research and by creating an urgent awareness among all Americans of the importance of the war against cancer. The V Foundation performs these dual roles through advocacy, education, fundraising and philanthropy. For more information click here.
