Donna Raye Aragon was born July 1, 1965 in Griffin, Georgia. After graduating from Griffin High School in 1983, she entered Gordon College where she earned her A.A. degree in 1985 with an emphasis in Psychology. She entered The University of Georgia where she earned her B.S. degree with a concentration in Agricultural Economics in 1987. She completed additional coursework at Mercer University to gain teacher certification in the state of Georgia. She completed coursework with the Griffin Regional Educational Service Agency to obtain gifted certification in the state of Georgia. Her work experiences have included teaching sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, developing and teaching teacher education workshops, and writing middle grades math and gifted curriculum. She is presently employed by Griffin-Spalding County Schools as a teacher of middle grades gifted at Taylor Street Middle School, Griffin, Georgia.
She currently resides in Griffin, Georgia with her husband, Edward, and her two children, Abigail Alicia and Noah Charles.
