| Human
Papilloma Virus (HPV) is the most commonly sexually transmitted diseases
in the United States. About 20 million people in the U.S. have HPV and
about 6.2 million get infected each year with this virus. 80% of all women
will be infected by age 50. Anyone who is sexually active can become
infected by HPV. There are more than 100 types of HPV. 30 of these
diseases are genital.
