Understanding
and Educating Adults This paper deals with education in
the prison population. In it, I discuss
my belief that education is the key to decreasing the rate of recidivism once
the offender re-enters the general population.
Classroom Test This is a sample of my work in designing a
classroom test for the Department of Motor Vehicles. It demonstrates my knowledge of the rules
assessment utilizing multiple choice, matching, fill-in-the-blank, short
answer, essay and extended essay.
Rubric This is a
rubric that I designed which can be used in the classroom both as an evaluation
instrument as well as checklist for the learners as to the specifics of an
assignment.
Adult
Learning Styles Adults have
experienced life in a far more varied and complex manner than children,
therefore their style of learning is different from that of children. This paper presents a discussion of these
differences in learning style.
Research
Proposal This is a sample of my work in creating a research proposal for
studying the impact of background music on academic achievement.
Job Description For this assignment, I was asked to write a
job description for the position of Instructional Designer. This is what I came up with.
Interview and Topic Analysis
This assignment required that I arrange an interview with a Subject Matter
Expert on job safety. From this
interview, I was then required to write a topic analysis.
Dealing With
ADD in Postsecondary Education We
often attribute Attention Deficit Syndrome and its affect on academics to
children. However, adult students of
post secondary education face their own unique set of issues. This paper discusses these issues and how
some educational institutions are attempting to address them.
Planning
for My Wedding This was an assignment on program planning where I had a
little fun by describing how I used the components of the Interactive Model of
Program Planning in preparing for my wedding day.
Performance Assessment This is a structured performance test that I
devised to assess the ability to transcribe a medical report.
