Alpha Delta Pi holds the distinction of being the first secret society in the world for college women. We were founded on May 15, 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia. Qualifications for membership have remained unchanged throughout the years - scholarship, high principles of behavior and true friendships. There are 131 chapters of Alpha Delta Pi worldwide.

Commitment to the Alpha Delta Pi international philanthropy, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, was made in 1979 and continues today. Since beginning its association, Alpha Delta Pi has contributed over $2 million to this worthwhile effort.

" We Live for Each Other " is our open motto and we strive to live to the highest ideals and values that encompass these words. Our sisterhood is one to be recognized for its strength and integrity, and the friendships that are created out of our organization are lifelong, proud, and true.
